How To Make the Most of your Britishmedicaljobs.com AHP Profile

Think of your profile as a billboard, it’s an advertisement of you. Everything you write in it is a reflection of yourself, if you say you have excellent attention to detail but then spell something wrong and don’t correct it then you are contradicting this statement and essentially sabotaging your own applications.

The key to your profile and applications being viewed by recruiters is attention to detail and content. If your profile synopsis states that you wish to work as an ODP but then apply for roles as a carer then it is unlikely your profile will be viewed. Make sure your synopsis contains your experience in the roles to which you are applying. If you do not want to be too specific then make this known in your synopsis ‘’looking for a new challenge’’ is a key phrase to achieve this.

Your synopsis does not have to be hundreds of words long. 250 – 300 words is favoured as you are able to write enough to get the recruiter interested but not so much that you begin to waffle.
